First of all, the Indigo Returns Module provides you with software support with which you can document the return conditions agreed individually with your customers: When should returns be delivered where? Which quality grades have been agreed? How is the accounting carried out and are there – due to an agreed complaint bonus – perhaps even blocking notices?

Since returns are usually collected from the customer and not sent back to you as individual parts, your logistics partners must also be able to provide the appropriate capacities for collection, evaluation and resumption. Of course, this will work better (or only at all) if you are notified of the returns. Here you can enter and consolidate the payment advices of the various customers and use them as a basis for logistics planning. This way you book only the capacities you really need for your logistics.

On the basis of the agreements with your customers, you can determine which quality grades can exist for the returned goods (for example, 1st choice, 2nd choice, scrap). For correct settlement and crediting of returned fashion articles, it is important to track their effective delivery values. Of course, subsequent discounts are also taken into account. In the case of returns, no more is credited at the end than was actually invoiced to the customer for the goods.
